Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed or that your life is out of balance? Are you seeking a place of healing and stability?  Dr. Teri seeks to help you find hope through a sensitive, caring, spiritual, client-centered approach focusing on your strengths while working together to uncover insights, solutions and identify new perspectives for building resilience.

With a Doctorate in educational administration, and experience as an elementary school teacher, campus administrator, and early childhood professor, she understands the challenges children and parents can have in successfully navigating childhood and the world of school. She speaks the language of children.  As a therapist and educator, Dr. Teri has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, men, women and families in school and clinical settings facilitating emotional healing.  With Master's degrees in Education and Social Work, a Certification as an Addictions Treatment Counselor (CATC V) and a Certification in Holistic Health Coaching (HHC), she has dedicated her life to helping others. She has specialized training in play therapy, and Attention Deficient Disorder (ADD), improving your brain health through practical neuroscience.  Providing individualized treatment based on clients' needs, she also utilizes music, meditation, prayer, Dialectical Behavior Therapy/mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.  The building of a strong therapist-client alliance and creating a safe, nonjudgmental place where healing can begin is most important.

In Philippians it says, "Do not be anxious about anything but in everything through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.  And the peace that passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind."  Starting in your first session, you will receive practical suggestions to help you manage your thoughts, your struggles and anxiety and start the process of bringing about peace that surpasses your understanding.
