It takes bravery to create and live a life you love. You are not alone. Yes, it is possible.
My goal as a therapist is to create hope and “hold space” while helping clients navigate emotional, relational, or spiritual challenges in their lives. To me, “holding space” means something profoundly empowering. I endeavor to bring my entire presence to my clients. To walk along with them without judgment, sharing their journey to an unknown destination.
I believe effective therapy is based on self-compassion. Tapping into inner resilience and building skills to create the life you want. As masters of our own destiny, I feel people are essentially good and ultimately capable of achieving personal growth through encouragement and nurturing.
Using Experiential, Gottman, and Compassion Based Awareness modalities, my therapeutic approach is one of curiosity, caring, and collaboration. One that allows each individual to be celebrated for their uniqueness, and through an environment of understanding and acceptance, allows self-disclosure.
I strive to hold space where you can look at how changes and new coping strategies (feelings, perceptions and expectations) can bring about a sense of harmony and peace within yourself and with others. By recognizing our need for grace and forgiveness and assuming responsibility for feelings and behaviors, we can embrace the power of the Holy Spirit and tune into our own wisdom and gain wholeness.
