Not Accepting Clients At This Time

New is always a challenge. Yet it is through newness that we can finally see hope. Maybe you are needing some hope, or clamoring for a change in life. That move towards change will inevitably force you into something new. Your new, even if it is good, can be terrifying. Maybe you are experiencing some “new” right now that you wish you weren’t. Maybe you need something new, but the old is continually crippling you. The scared inner child in me has faced each of these seasons, so I understand how difficult it can be to even think about doing something different and new. I would love to walk with you into newness and all the scary hope that life has to offer.

My goal is to empower you to find joy and hope in the midst of pain and difficulty, even if the joy and hope do not come easily. I believe that to be human is to sit through the mundane and choose to find value in it. In my approach to therapy, I desire to foster comfort in chaos and to explore together the emotions, attachments, and experiences that come with being human.

I enjoy working with all ages and have a heart for parents and teens. I enjoy the peace of the ocean's crashing waves and the warmth of a tasty coffee. Whether you need the excitement of active therapy practices or the slow conversation of an old friend, it would be my joy in life to join you in what you need to deal with the newness life brings.

I am currently studying as a graduate student in Clinical Counseling at Point Loma Nazarene University.
