Affordable individual counseling for $10 per session

The Center for Enriching Relationships (CER), in partnership with Point Loma Nazarene University’s Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling (MACC) offers low-cost counseling provided by supervised therapists-in-training.

Sessions are $10 each, and services are FREE for current PLNU students and staff.

How It Works

By completing the form below, you will be placed on our waitlist to meet with the next available therapist-in-training. These services are available year-round.

Each therapist-in-training provides a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 sessions per client.

Please note: Because these services are part of a graduate clinical training program, you must consent to audio and video recording of your sessions for educational and supervision purposes.

Recordings are reviewed only by the therapist-in-training and their supervisor and are destroyed after review.

Who We Serve

We provide individual counseling for adults seeking support with a variety of concerns and personal goals. We would be happy to work with you on the goals you are hoping to achieve through counseling.

Important Information

• Cost: $10 per approximately 55-minute session for the public, free for current PLNU students and staff

• Number of sessions: 5–8 sessions, short term care

• Location: In Person in Mission Valley or Telehealth

• California requirement: For telehealth, you must be physically located in California at the time of your session.
