Bernadette is a San Diego native who graduated from San Diego State University and went on to work for the Department of Veteran's Affairs as a disability claims adjudicator, community outreach coordinator, entitlement and benefits counselor, and supervisor, after 30 years of service.

She loves serving and is also involved in her church with Small Groups ministry and worship arts. She has been married to her husband, Adam, a retired high school teacher, for over 30 years and they enjoy traveling together, singing in a choir, and spending time with family and friends. Bernadette also loves hiking and playing Pickleball. She is thrilled to be working for CER providing administrative support to the front office.
